Watching the Water Flow with Dmitri Prigov and Apostolos Georgiou

I’ve spent all my life washing dishes

And composing poems most sublime

And this has lent me all of my life’s wisdom

And made my temperament film and mild

I watch the water flow and comprehend it

Below my window – the people and the powers

Whatever I don’t like I simply overrule it

And what I like is all surrounding me.
