Classical Mythology/Contemporary Art Endgame Part 1: Remaining Topics/Art Works

Now the dust has settled on my experimental class on Classical Mythology/Contemporary Art, I want to make 2 final posts on this topic before moving onto the topic of  my next project as part of an Ancient Philosophy course this coming semester (watch this space). This post will merely list the topics and art works that were the basis of student presentations in the class. The following post will offer a selection of comments, quoted from the students’ final papers. In these papers I asked the students to summarize their discussions of the four art works they had presented on during the course, then to compare those four art works, ending with a general response to the themes of the course overall.
